Coogee Family Medical Centre is proud to announce that we are providing COVID-19 vaccinations.
We are currently providing Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and Comirnaty (Pfizer) COVID-19 vaccinations.
Please carefully read the information below to further understand our vaccine rollout.
Who is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine?
You can book an appointment for the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine if you are 12 years old or over.
You can book an appointment for the Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) vaccine if you are:
● 60 years old and over
● 18 to 59 years old – you can choose to have AstraZeneca after discussing with your health professional.
Q. What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You need to bring:
1. Your medicare card
2. A form of ID
3. New patients please bring a health summary and list of current medications
Q. How do I book an appointment?
We will no longer be taking vaccine bookings via phone calls. This is due to the high volume of calls our clinic has been receiving.
Please use our online booking system to book your COVID-19 vaccination appointment. If no online appointments are available please check back again later. We will update the website as more appointments become available.
Q. What can I expect after my vaccine?
After the vaccine we will need to observe you in the clinic for 15 minutes before allowing you to return home.

Q. What if I don’t have a medicare card?
Please note, we are only able to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for patients with a valid Medicare card. If you do not have a valid Medicare card please attend a Government vaccination hub.
Q. Do I need to pay for my COVID-19 vaccine?
No, the COVID-19 vaccine will be free for everyone living in Australia.
